Omari uses this added motivation to zealously advocate towards obtaining favorable outcomes for homeowners, injured and accused alike. He focuses his practice in the areas of first-party homeowner insurance litigation, personal injury, negligent security, wrongful death, and criminal defense.

Prior to his private practice, Omari was an Assistant Public Defender in Miami gaining invaluable litigation experience while obtaining favorable outcomes for his clients. Omari also gained meaningful experience for an insurance defense firm practicing in the areas of general civil litigation in state and federal courts. Prior to his private practice, Omari was an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade County for over four years.

As an Assistant Public Defender, Omari gained significant jury trial experience, completing a number of jury trials to verdict. Omari managed felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases including cases that are punishable by life. Omari has conducted hundreds of depositions of civilians and expert witnesses. In 2014, Omari was awarded “Best Advocate” at the state-wide Public Defender College.

When not working to better a client’s case, Omari enjoys spending quality time with his family, quiet time with an insightful book, traveling, and having a good laugh with loved ones.
